The problem with internet shopping is that quite simply you often end up spending more money than you intended as you see things that catch your eye. While they may not be vital purchases, you cannot resist household saver and your budget is blown.
It therefore pays dividends to be very organised and disciplined in your internet shopping and make sure that you have a fixed shopping list just as you would in a supermarket.
Everyone knows that going shopping without a shopping list in a supermarket can be a real disaster as you pick up everything that takes your fancy and you often get back home with lots of things like popcorn and cakes but realise that you have forgotten the basics such as milk and bread.
So the same should apply to internet shopping and you should make a list of exactly what you need and how much you are prepared to spend on it, bearing in mind that you may have to factor in postage too.
Do not put anything into your trolley that you do not really need and make sure that you stick to your list however tempting it is. It may be difficult at the time but you will be pleased you stuck to your guns when your next credit card bill comes in.
